The story that 5 senior Zanu-PF have resigned from the ruling party in Zimbabwe should be putting a smile on many peoples’ lips for this should be the beginnings of the end for Zanu PF. [ http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7738406.stm ] But wait, this is a break based on tribal affiliations and that does not bode well for the Zimbabwean people of any tribe. Reviving ZAPU is a bad idea, a very bad idea, this will end in tears.

This will be only add to the misery of the man in the street. Many will be used as pawns in the political battle that is bound to follow. Both MDC factions should now be very worried indeed, this is the death knell for both parties. The only winners will be the same old politicians that have brought the country to this level.

A couple of posts ago, I said, Zimbabwe does not fail to surprise on how far a country can fall and here we go again. My heart is sore.

Not The News

Always have some view on some of the day's news, so I thought I might as well let the world know. You may not always agree but then that what democracy is about, yes?
