MPs, get on with some real work
Do we really need a commons debate on the stupidity that is Manuelgate (see http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article5047594.ece)? Ok, some estimated 400,000 heard the actual crank call by, I emphasise, a comedian. One person complained – what was he/she doing listening to a controversial figure on the radio, what exactly was he/she expecting? Whilst I sympathise with the target of the prank, I cannot see any more fuss is needed as it is being dealt within the BBC. So, no, conservatives, we do not want a debate on the matter, get back to work trying to get us out of the fine mess the banks put us in!
